Designed for bikes with fenders
Fits bikes with tires up to 2.4″ wide, and up to 55lbs. Perfect for cruisers or classic bikes that have fenders or mud guards. The rack’s tire cradle is specifically designed to assist you in positioning your bike into the proper storage position so you don’t have to do any heavy lifting of your bike. The end of the rack is flexible so that when you roll a bike with a fender up into the rack, it collapses inward and passes between the tire and the fender, supporting the weight of the bike by contact with the tire and not the fender.
Some rear fenders are longer than others
This can cause the longer ones to drag on the ground when the bike is lifted up to the vertical position to mount into the rack. If your bike has long rear fenders we recommend you raise the bike up until just before the fender touches the ground and try to make sure the front wheel is close to or touching the rack, then you can push the bike into the rack. Otherwise, you can lift your bike up and push it into the rack.
