The Double Bike Freestanding Rack is a heavy duty design with a wide and sturdy base that is capable of holding up to 80lbs. This should be more than enough for road bikes or BMX bikes and should also have no problem bearing the weight of big down hill mountain bikes.
The rack works by having soft plastic cradles support your bikes’ frames. Note:
As mentioned above, the frame cradles can independently move up and down which allow this rack to accommodate a variety of bike frame styles. This rack works best on bikes with a straight upper frame tube (like most men’s bikes), but with the cradle adjustment it will also fit women’s, mountain, and non-straight upper tube frames.
